Das Album entstand als eine Art Soundtrack zum Buch 'Die Steine der Weisen' des österreichisch-irischen Autors Ronald P.Vaughan. Die Handlung der Geschichte spielt vor mehr als 4000 Jahren, und so liess sich Gandalf, der immer schon auch eine starke Affinität zu keltischer Musik verspürte, auch auf Pfaden Jahrtausende alter Kulturen inspirierenund besuchte mystische Stein-Stätten und Kultplätze in Südwest- England. Die Musik wird getragen von Holzflöten- und Trommelklängen, dazu gesellen sich Gitarren, Harfe und phasenweise Klavier. Elektronik tritt stark in den Hintergrund, der Rhythmus folgt dem Schlagen des Herzens und dem Atem der Natur.
